Our SWPPP services are designed to ensure compliance with both the City of Dallas and City of Fort Worth requirements regarding stormwater compliance for construction activities. A copy of the City of Dallas code regarding stormwater management can be found at DallasCityHall.com and a copy of the Fort Worth ordinance on Environmental Protection and Compliance can be found at FortWorthTexas.gov.
Both the City of Dallas (COD) and City of Fort Worth require that you submit a copy of your Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for review. COD requires that you submit a SWPPP for your project to both the Development Services Department as well as the Stormwater Management Department. The City of Fort Worth requires that you submit a copy of your SWPPP to the Development Services Department. Our SWPPP development service includes submitting a complete copy of your plan and notices on your behalf. For more information about our plans, please see our SWPPP development section.
The COD Stormwater Management Department conducts regular inspections of construction sites to ensure they are in compliance with Federal, State, and City requirements. You can expect these inspections to occur on a regular schedule based on the size of the project.
Our inspections are conducted on a weekly basis to ensure that we’ll have the maximum amount of time to address any compliance issues that may arise. All of our inspections are conducted by Certified Erosion, Sediment, and Stormwater Inspectors (CESSWI). These professionals have years of experience in the construction industry and will work with you to plan out a smart, cost-effective, path to compliance. For more information about our inspection services, please see our inspections section.
